Job Description – User Experience Design Intern

We’re looking for a user experience design intern who is passionate about growing KindWorks.AI on a global scale. You’ll join our strong and diverse global team on our mission to unleash Kindness enabled by technology to ignite human connection. We are growing rapidly and seeking an ambitious and flexible team member to support all things related to the product. Your work at Kindworks will span both user experience conversation design, visual design, and supporting internal process design. You’ll get experience across multiple facets of user experience and have the opportunity to work on UX design that you’ll see directly in the product. Our customers are top global consulting firms, banks, and fastgrowing startups.

About KindWorks.AI

KindWorks.AI’s mission is to encourage and enable Kindness habits for billions. We have built an enterprise platform with a Kindness AI agent (‘Beni’) who connects through communication tools like Slack, WhatsApp, and Teams to encourage and enable the intentional practice of Kindness. Beni’s nudges are grounded in science to strengthen cultures and increase people’s sense of connectivity, motivation, and purpose.

What you will do:

  • Support the product UX roadmap based on user research, past experiences with the product, general product and design principles and UX best-practice standards.
  • Support the UX team through every stage of the conversation design process, from research and design mapping to script writing and QA.
  • Design media to support the UX conversations
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to execute UX flows in the various channels where Beni lives.
  • Balance multiple projects at once while ensuring the highest level of quality of work and customer satisfaction.
  • Support in the documentation of standards, frameworks, and processes for KindWorks UX design

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Confirmed collaborative and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, multifaceted, global environment.
  • Excellent English communication skills and eye for detail
  • Growth Mindset, Curiosity, & Creativity
  • Proactively perform tasks independently and lead projects proactively

Bonus Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of and experience with natural language processing
  • Degree in Linguistics, English, Journalism, or Screenwriting
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Experience in Conversational Design, UX Design, Human Centered Design

  • Location agnostic. We are a Canadian company with a fully remote work-from-home environment with teams primarily in Bogotá, Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago.
